Activity Register

Uses the chart filters. Select a row to inspect, style or create a scenario.

Changes & Scenarios

Import a second XER as a reference to compare exact dates and locations.

Try a change

1. Click an activity line or register row.
2. Change its dates, or shift it by a number of days.
3. Click Apply scenario and see the chart move.
4. Use Undo or Revert activity to return.

Compare two source schedules

Use Compare XER to load an earlier export. The table shows added, removed and changed activities, with exact date movements. This is separate from your trial edits.

Scenario edits are visual planning assumptions. P6 dates and logic remain the source record. No successor rescheduling or calendar recalculation is performed. Date movement below is measured in elapsed calendar days.

Data Assurance

Check the source, date rules and exceptions before issuing a chart.

Automatic programme review

Recomputed from the currently imported project.

Confirmed = a measurable data condition. Review = a potential coordination issue, not a proven construction clash. Coverage is checked within each supplied work type. Non-zero relationship lag is not recalculated because it needs P6 working calendars.

Find activities for a time location chart

Finds unmarked candidates from activity names, WBS and activity codes, then checks dates and locations. Each suggestion shows its source evidence.

Suggestions are rule-based review candidates, not a certified complete scope. Unrecognised wording may need manual review under All source activities. No locations are invented. A valid date pair and numeric location pair prove that an activity can be plotted. They do not prove it belongs in the agreed presentation. Explicit TLC / Turbo Chart names or TL-Import flags identify records already marked by the planner. Records without location evidence need source mapping, not invented chainages.
How to prepare another project and P6 fields

Upload its current XER, then use Find Chart Activities. Map existing numeric location fields if needed. Build verified chart plots records with valid dates and both location endpoints, even without Turbochart in the name.

For this XERR importer, use activity UDFs TL-Loc-Start and TL-Loc-End for numeric locations, TL-Style for a work type, and optionally TL-Import = Yes to mark intended chart activities. Existing location UDF names can be mapped instead. For work at one location, use the same start and end location.

After review, append (TLC) to the approved Activity Name in P6. The next XER import recognises it automatically. Adding a marker does not supply missing locations. If locations are absent, add verified values in P6 and export a fresh XER, or import a location CSV here. Readiness confirms that a record can be plotted, not that it belongs in the approved chart scope.
