RECOVERY & SLIPPAGE
Every dot is one activity.
Activity by Activity
The same movement, with a fixed row for every activity. A blank cell means no record.
Your Progress Records
One record per activity per reporting period. Maximum 50 unique activities and 52 periods. Tables over 40 records export as a ZIP of JPEG pages.
| ACTIVITY | WORKSTREAM | PERIOD | PLANNED % | ACTUAL % | GAP (PP) | MOVEMENT (PP) | EDIT | REMOVE |

CSV OR COPY FROM EXCEL
Use the table you already understand.
Download the Excel template, fill its Upload sheet and upload the completed workbook. CSV and tables copied from Excel also work.
Drop your Excel or CSV here
Excel .xlsx up to 5 MB, or CSV in UTF-8 up to 2 MB. Commas, tabs and semicolons are accepted. Uploads replace the current dataset after you review the result.
Excel: enter your data on Upload and leave the headings in row 1. Example shows the format. Save as .xlsx and upload it directly. You can also copy the headings and rows from Excel and paste them alongside.
Progress is a number from 0 to 100. Enter 25 or 25%. Do not use decimal fractions such as 0.25 to mean 25%.
Nothing is uploaded to a server. The data stays in this browser tab and clears when the page closes.
READ THE SIGNAL CORRECTLY
Recovery is a change, not a claim that the activity is on time.
- Enter the planned and actual cumulative progress for each activity at each reporting date.
- The progress gap is Actual % minus Planned %.
- Movement is this period’s gap minus the gap at the previous reporting date.
- A positive movement goes above the line. A negative movement goes below it. Unchanged records sit in their own row.
- The first period, or a missing record in the previous period, has no comparison. The tool does not invent a previous value.
The chart counts activities, not percentage points. Colour shows how much the gap moved. Each reporting period compares with the previous date in the whole uploaded dataset. Keep one consistent reporting calendar.
Movements smaller than 0.05 pp are treated as unchanged to avoid noise from rounding. A missing record is not the same as no movement. No totals are weighted or presented as overall programme progress.
The sample is a fictional 24 activity substation upgrade across ten weekly reporting dates. Its notes describe access restrictions, design approvals, factory slots, ground conditions and testing decisions. It is not client data.
Required Upload Columns
Dates: DD-MMM-YY, DD/MM/YYYY or YYYY-MM-DD. Names and workstreams must remain consistent for each activity ID. Duplicate activity/date rows, invalid percentages and malformed data are rejected with row numbers.
